Reviewers
Members of the reviewer pool assess submitted scientific papers. Based on their review report, a paper is accepted for publication (if necessary with minor or major revisions) or rejected. All reviewers have completed a series of masterclasses. The knowledge and experience of our reviewers guarantee that only high-quality and interesting papers will be published in RAMS. Together with the editorial board the editors are responsible for the content of RAMS. The scientific editors will receive review reports from reviewers and combine them into one report. While doing so, they will check the quality of the review reports and will add additional suggestions or remove suggestions they do not agree with. Furthermore, they will give feedback to the reviewers on their reports with the intention to educate the reviewers and maintaining the high quality of RAMS.
The editorial editors write their own articles for RAMS. These articles are meant to be a bit less scientific in content and style. Of course, claims in these articles still need be supported by scientific literature. The articles are meant to be easier to read than scientific articles, and the editorial editors have more freedom to write in their own style and opinionated compared to the scientific articles. Finally, all members of the editorial board will gather once a month to discuss the current status of our journal.
